Lattice & Roses
It's a stampin' kinda day in MD.
I was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest,
and my Roses that are in full bloom in my front yard.
Combine the two and created this card.
I created this card using the Stampin' Up Lattice Die,
CB lattice embossing folder (thanks Cindy), MFT Roses,
SU itty bitty shapes punch, SU bling, all SU CS,
large square nesties.

Wrapping Paper Cards
I'm sure someone, somewhere has already
had this idea...but I just thought of it a few
months ago..and wanted to share.
With my kids ever changing interests as
well as their friends interests I never have
the "perfect stamp" anymore.
So then I had that lightbulb moment
Oprah would call it my Ahh-Haa moment.
Why not just use the wrapping paper I already
have..then the card coordinates perfectly and
I don't have to find/buy the perfect stamp..that I may or
may not ever use again.
Hope this helps another Mommy.
Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day 2012
These are the two Mother's Day cards I created today.
Going to be late...but it's the thought that counts right?!
Wasn't able to get a good picture...I'm an okay card maker but
worlds worst photographer.
The card base is Teal not navy as it looks in the photos.
I used a really old technique for this card...remember
the dryer sheet technique..well that's what I used here.
Lots of shine to these cards. I also used shimmer CS
so they are bling-tastic.
Hope all the Mother's out there have a wonderful Mother's Day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Inspire Altered Cigar Box
The feet are SU stamp blocks.
Painted to match the box.
I guess the Altered Cigar Box started at a LSS called
The Queen's Ink. A couple of our stamp group members
joined in for one of their classes and brought the idea
back to the group! lol
This is one I made today. It was very quick and easy.
Kinda cool that you can take something that would otherwise
end up in a landfill and make something beautiful out of it.
This one will hold my sketch book I made a couple years ago.
Found the matching paper in my hoard of DSP...
Hope you all are having a wonderful week.
Thanks for stopping by!
