Cancer has touched so many.

Think Pink!
This is for a challenge over on SCS Maryland anyone thread. Kimmie was the last challenge winner and she came up with this weeks challenge of Pink Ribbon. I decided to go ahead and get started on my Oct Breast Cancer Awareness cards. So this is what I came up with. Hope you like it!

With sadness in my heart I want to share this with you.
I just found out yesterday that my favorite High School Teacher lost his battle with cancer on Aug 26th. He was a really great teacher and the world lost a really good person. I'm sorry he is gone but hope he has now found peace. He was a gay man in small town middle America he never had an easy life. It's to bad that so many people missed out on knowing a really great person because of there own ignorance. Rest in peace Mr. W and know that I'm thankful that I got to know you. I hope your eternity is made up of what you enjoyed so much about life. I hope it's forever summer and you are soaking up some rays on the beautiful beaches of heaven.

I love this card! It is so beautiful. Sorry to hear of the loss of your teacher. A good teacher who makes a life long impact, regardless of their sexual orientation is hard to find. They are truly precious. I know he has found ultimate peace and healing with God.

Great card Amanda! So sorry to hear about your teacher - he is at peace and no longer suffering. And what a joy to know someone who has touched your life in such a great way.

Tres' Chic. I love it! I love the ghost ribbon, where did you find it? Too pretty.
I so enjoyed your tribute to your teacher. A sad loss but a wonderful life if he left that kind of impact. Isn't that what we all would like, to leave such a great impression on others?

Beautiful card and beautiful expression of thanks for your teacher. It's not many teachers who can impact someone's life like he has yours.
