Ribbon Storage

Hello Everyone!
I wanted to share with you my latest ribbon storage. I found this rack at a local store that was going out of business and I
payed $20 for it I think it was a GREAT deal.
Some of my local friends and I took a road trip to the
Ribbon Outlet in here in MD it was so much I can't even
tell you how crazy fun it was.
If you know me you know that I can't stand my stuff not
having a "home" so I spent most of the day sorting and stuffing my ribbon tower. My HUGE rolls will not fit on here but this is most of my ribbon I did find two more shoe boxes full of new spools so I need to work those in this week.
****Sorry for whatever reason the pics are out of order and I don't feel like reloading them****

It's all about the PINK!

I made this as a Birthday gift for one of the Meade Girls who had a
Birhday this month. I've had it done for a couple weeks now but
I didn't want to post it and it not be a SURPRISE!
So she has it and really like it I think.
I just love making these they are fun and easy.
I used white paint to give it a white washed look. It's covered with Bo Bunny paper (love this stuff) it's my 2nd fav DP. Mary told me her Fav color is Bright Pink so I went with that for this project. It's all Pink, White, black.
Enjoy!

It's all about the PINK!
Hello!
I made this card last Friday I had a special little girl in mind for this card.
Her Fav color is PINK so with that in mind I came up with this card.
I would never use this much pink all together but you know it's for her not me.
I use the SU set Hedgehog Happiness, SU card stock, Bo Bunny DP, Craft Store ribbon, white brads and eyelets, pink crystals, copics markers.

Card Ministry

I've been working on some really simple quick cards for
my Mothers church. So far I have made 150 cards!
I really hope they enjoy them.
Happy Stamping!

April Fools Day!

Hello All!
This is a card I made today I hope you like it.
I'm not sure the name of the stamp. I stamped off some images at Create it Crafts in Glen Burine last weekend. This is one of them.
This is SU paper and CS in Pacific Point. I colored the image with copic markers.
I do need some practice with my copics but one day I'll get there.
CHECK OUT THIS BLOG CANDY!

Cards

This card I made using the Embrace Life set from SU.

This card I made with my son Nate in mind. He loves anything with wheels.
I got this idea after the last Ft Meade SBS. It's a pendulum card. Very fun cards for kids.
The Stamp is from the SU set Road Trip.

This is the pendulum on the inside of the card. It has a penny in the bottom this gives it the weight it needs to move.

Thank you Jen (Jetstudio) for RAK'ing me some cute images.
Just a few cards that I've made in the last day or two.

KeeKee

Nate and his KeeKee.

I've never seen a Cat so devoted to a toddler quiet like
KeeKee and Nate.

She hasn't left his side since his surgery on Monday.

He cries and screams when we wake him to give him his meds. She just can't stand it she goes crazy. It's kinda weird

because she isn't normally this way.

Long lost stamp

Sorry I haven't posted I've been busy with the Ft Meade Shoe Box Swap, and getting ready to move. Hints how I found this.
Look what I found when cleaning out boxes in my shed.
I made this in a High School advanced art class.
I almost lost a finger when doing it but got it done!
We had to glue the linoleum (sp?) to the wood block and then carve the image out. I can't wait to try it out as a back ground stamp.

Chipboard Books

Today I felt like playing with these cool chipboard
books I found at Michael's for $1!
These are such a cool find these are sold at
LSS for something like $6.00 and up so I picked up
lots of them. I had no real projects planned for them
but as I need gifts they are here and ready to alter.
You can find them in the DOLLAR BINS.
Enjoy and have a GREAT week!
Happy Stampin'

Ikea Lamp
Fun with Alcohol Inks!

Ikea Knappa Lamp kit $24.99

In a kit there are 48 of these pieces.

You will need Alcohol Ink I chose these 4 colors but you
can choose and many as you want.
Stream, Meadow, Denim, Stonewashed
You will also need rubber gloves, a 1/4 of a round sponge,
heavy craft paper to cover your work space. You must
work fast the ink dries really fast.

Take you ink bottles and drop large drops of ink onto
your shade pieces. Take you sponge and with an up and down
motion sponge all the colors so that they are all touching
each other.

This is what it will look like after you sponge it.

This is what it looks like dry.
Big change! It's really cool to watch!
I used less than half of a bottle of ink. A little goes a long way!

My inspiration was beach glass. I love the look
of beach glass in a vase and wanted that look.
This hangs to the left of my craft desk over my palm tree.

This is what it looks like with the lights off.
I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

So in a little over an hour of inkin' fun I now have a
really fun lamp. I really like how it turned out!

Less than 2 hours to complete, less than $40
Really cool fun lamp!

Happy Stampin'
